Founder & Attorney

Adam Oakey is a New Mexico native and founder of the Law Office of Adam Oakey. His practice is shaped by extensive courtroom experience, advanced trial advocacy training, and the Fighter’s Spirit he developed during his years competing in mixed martial arts.

Sean Grady 

Attorney

Originally from Florida, Sean brings a broad perspective shaped by extensive travel and time spent living in different parts of the United States and abroad. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Sean focuses on criminal defense allowing him to connect with and advocate for clients from diverse backgrounds. He brings passion, diligence, and compassion to every case and is dedicated to protecting his clients’ rights.

Julia Oakey

Co-Owner, Senior Paralegal

Julia has helped build and support the Law Office of Adam Oakey alongside her husband, Adam, since the early years of the firm, becoming deeply involved in its operations during the COVID era. As Co-Owner and Senior Paralegal, she works across all areas of the practice and is known for her dedication, compassion, and hands-on approach with clients. Julia works especially closely with clients and their families, providing support and understanding during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Roberta Silva

Chief of Operations

Driven by a passion for justice and compassion for people, Roberta serves as Chief Operating Officer, helping lead the day-to-day operations of the Law Office of Adam Oakey while keeping the needs of clients and the team at the forefront. She believes there is something to learn from every person she meets and strives to create understanding, build meaningful connections, and make a positive impact. Outside the office, Roberta cherishes time with family and friends, loves a good laugh and spontaneous karaoke session, and enjoys winding down with law and crime shows.

Serina Altamirano

Operations Manager & Billing Specialist 

As Operations Manager and Billing Specialist, Serina helps keep the Law Office of Adam Oakey running smoothly while ensuring clients receive transparent, accurate, and timely billing. She brings organization, accountability, and attention to detail to the firm’s daily operations, helping support both the team and the clients we serve. Deeply connected to her community, Serina loves supporting local events and can often be found out and about in Albuquerque on the weekends.

Corey Rivas 

Client Attorney Liason 

Corey brings a diverse background in financial management, legislative analysis, and government affairs to his role as Client Attorney Liaison, where he focuses on building strong relationships and helping clients connect with the legal team. With an approach grounded in integrity, communication, and results, Corey helps ensure prospective and existing clients feel heard, informed, and connected to the right resources within the firm. Outside of work, Corey is a dedicated father who loves music, plays piano, and enjoys a great movie.

Lynette Garcia

Legal Secretary | Front Desk

As one of the first people clients meet when they contact our office, Lynette helps create a welcoming and supportive experience from the very beginning. She assists clients and attorneys through organization, communication, and attention to detail, helping ensure questions and needs get to the right members of our team. Known for her caring nature and strong connection to the community, Lynette is the kind of person who is always willing to show up for a friend or lend a hand when someone needs it.

Jackie Fuentes

Personal Injury Paralegal | Bilingual — English & Spanish

Jackie is a Personal Injury Paralegal who works closely with clients throughout their cases and plays a key role in preparing the firm’s settlement demands. She works closely with clients throughout their cases and plays a key role in preparing the firm’s personal injury settlement demands, using her attention to detail and organization to help clearly tell each client’s story and document the impact of their injuries. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Jackie helps ensure clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process. Outside the office, she is a devoted mom who loves spending time with her children and listening to everything from timeless classics to today’s hits.

Stefane Sena

Bookkeeper & Juvenile Advocate

Stefane plays a versatile role at the Law Office of Adam Oakey, supporting the firm’s bookkeeping and financial operations while also serving as our Juvenile Advocate. With a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, she helps maintain accurate financial records and keeps important behind-the-scenes processes running smoothly. In her work with juvenile clients, Stefane builds relationships with young clients and their families, helping them stay connected to the legal team and supporting their needs throughout the process. Outside the office, she’s a dedicated mother, Barbie collector, shoe enthusiast, and always ready to bring a little laughter to the day.

Fabiola Contreras

Legal Assistant | Bilingual — English & Spanish

Born in Costa Rica, Fabiola is a bilingual Legal Assistant who works closely with the firm’s criminal defense team, helping clients with questions and concerns throughout their cases. She also plays an important role in case preparation, responsible for drafting the firm’s motions, bringing care and attention to detail to each filing. Outside the office, Fabiola has a creative side, she loves the arts and enjoys singing.

Rhiannon Cox 

Legal Assistant | Personal Injury & Social Media

Rhiannon works closely with the firm’s personal injury team, helping clients from the beginning of their case through treatment and medical-record collection. She regularly checks in with clients about their medical care, gathers and organizes medical records, and is always expanding her role. Rhiannon also brings her creativity to the firm’s social media, helping share our team, culture, and connection to the community. Outside the office, she is a talented singer and musician with a lifelong love of music.

David Washburn

Criminal Defense Legal Assistant 

David works closely with the firm’s criminal defense team, helping manage scheduling, coordinate case-related needs, and support clients throughout the legal process. Having personally experienced the criminal justice system and rebuilt his life after a felony conviction, David brings a perspective few people can offer, he understands firsthand the challenges our clients may be facing and believes strongly in the power of second chances. He uses those hard-earned lessons to connect with clients without judgment and help them move forward with integrity, purpose, and hope. Outside the office, David is passionate about health and wellness and is always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need.

Francisco Sanchez

Personal Injury Paralegal |Bilingual – English & Spanish

Francisco is an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal who focuses on the firm’s litigation matters and brings extensive knowledge of personal injury claims to the team. He helps keep cases moving through the litigation process with careful attention to detail, organization, and a strong understanding of what goes into building and supporting a personal injury case. Outside the office, Francisco is a talented woodworker and all-around handyman who enjoys building beautiful, functional pieces, with the same patience and craftsmanship he brings to his work at the firm.

Paul Jacobs 

Investigator

Paul brings years of law enforcement experience to his role as an investigator, giving the firm valuable insight into how criminal cases are investigated and developed. He works closely with our attorneys to investigate cases, review and assist with discovery, conduct pretrial interviews, and help uncover important facts and details that can make a difference in preparing a defense. His experience and investigative perspective help our legal team look beyond the surface of a case and ensure our attorneys are thoroughly prepared.

Tanina Martinez 

Personal Injury Legal Assistant

Tanina plays an important role on the personal injury team, helping build and organize client files so our attorneys and paralegals have the information they need to move each case forward. She works with clients, attorneys, and healthcare providers to gather and maintain important case information, contributing to the team’s pursuit of recovery and justice for our clients. Tanina approaches her work with the belief that every day is an opportunity to make a difference, learn something new, and be part of something meaningful.
